The other thing that I, um was often asked I'm retired as a veterinary surgeon now. But when I was in practice, I would have someone come into the consulting room. And I'd watch their dog walk in and their dog would be quite stiff. And people would say to me, "Well, that's just the way it is you know this dog is, um getting old, and you know is it worth interfering with nature by doing something to make him freer in his movement". Well, I guess if I was a dog, I would probably like to be owned by someone who wanted me to experience good quality of life right through to the end, rather than say, "Okay, well you just have to put up with the last, uh, three or four of the years of your life being in discomfort associated with painful joints". So, I'm a fan of early intervention in arthritis as a animal welfare issue.
