Joint Rejuvenate with Omega 3 Fatty Acids

EPA and DHA are the 2 most important Omega 3 fatty acids. These are key ingredients needed for joint health for your dogs, cats, and horse. EPA and DHA are big molecules present in large quantities in Fish, green lipped mussel oil and Krill oil. The Omega 3 fatty acids in plant form like linseed (Flax) are small molecules which need to be linked together within the human body. Unfortunately, humans who have high omega 6 fatty acid intakes make the conversion of short chain omega 3 fatty acids into long chain fatty acids quite inefficient.

So what is the take home message? Marine based oil supplements are more efficacious than plant based oil supplements when it comes to getting your EPA and DHA levels up to a satisfactory level.
